Evaluation question four: What have you learned from your audience feedback?




1. Details about what you like about the video?

The use of a Ken doll as the male figure.
Locations
Stop animation effects
Bright colours
Imaginative

2. What was your favourite part of the video and why?

Tennis scene
The egg turning into a haribo sweet
The record player
Split screen

3.Was the storyline easy to follow?

Yes overall it was an easy and fun storyline to follow. It was humourous which made it more interesting to watch.

Yes I found that it was a great storyline and i really liked the concept of using a ken doll instead of a human male figure.
4. Was the bright effect on the shots good and was it appropriate for the artist?

Appropriate for the genre and theme
Made it more interesting
More eye catching
Represented the quirkiness and the fun personality of the artist

5. Did the locations fit in with the video?

The locations used made it more interesting
The locations fit in with the genre and it was clear that there was a city/urban theme

6. Did you feel that our video subverted stereotypes in any way?

It subverted the stereotypes that men dominate over women as in this music video, they represented female empowerement as the artist dominated over the Ken doll
 Women were not objectified in this msuic video which subverts Laura Mulvey's Male Gaze theory


Overall from our feedback we have learned that we fulfilled our aim about transmitting the message of female empowerment and have successfully subverted the female stereotypes. We have got good audience feedback and we are delighted that all these aspects of are music video have been entertaining.
